Hi Cathy,
Warmer
weather is finally here and we’re back into the Spring
time activities in Brookshire. As usual,
Springtime creates the honey-do list, so here you are:
- Check out our new Brookshire Cluster website with all of our legal documents,
meeting minutes, cluster duck, social calendar and photos… http://brookshirecluster.org.
Thank you Eric Blow for working
diligently on this.
- Mulch – we are ordering mulch from the Reston Lions club
again this year. The mulch is
double shredded hardwood mulch in three (3) cubic foot bags and costs
$2.85 a bag. The bags will be delivered to our cluster April 9-10. As a quick reminder, you
ordered the following bags at the
General Assembly. Just let me know if you need to adjust anything before
March 31st . 3 bags of mulch for a total cost of
8.55
- Gutter cleaning – Maple Leaf is set to come to clear out our
gutters again this May. We receive over 20% savings on the retail rate by
going in as a group. Maply Leaf folks clear, repair, plug, fix, etc. the gutters, spouts and gulleys.
End units cost $89 and interior units cost $69. You requested your gutters to be cleaned by Maple Leaf this Spring,
you don't need to do anything unless you want to change instructions.
- Minutes from our 2004 General Assembly are posted online at http://brookshirecluster.org/docs/Brookshire%20Cluster%20Association%20-%20General%20Assembly%20Meeting2004.htm (gracie
Jackie). Thank you to all that
attended and participated.
- Please welcome our new neighbors:
- Jonathan and Emily Modan at 1552
- Please welcome two new
additions to our cluster:
- Paige Cameron Settar borne to Scott and Laura
Settar, Sunday March 7th
- Mathias Joseph Fay borne to John and Lucie Fay, Tuesday March
16th
i. We will have a combination shower
for both babies in early April. Date [and registry] to be announced. All are
welcome, all can RSVP (Reply Sending Value of Present) J

or April 24th

All the
best,
Deirdre
